SAN ANTONIO RACEWAY JOINS NHRA FAMILY

      GLENDORA , Calif. (April 17, 2009) – NHRA officials have announced that San Antonio Raceway, in
Marion , Texas , has joined the NHRA Member Track network.  The facility, which hosts both quarter-mile
and eighth-mile events, includes aluminum grandstand seating, a 2-story tower complete with a media
center and hospitality suites, a 600-foot concrete launch pad, concrete walls the entire length of the track
and 15 acres of paved pit parking.

      San Antonio Raceway will participate in the NHRA South Central Division Summit Racing Series,
which will culminate with the Summit Series Finals at Texas Motorplex in Ennis , Texas , Oct. 9-11 and the
NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Western Conference Finals held at Bandimere Speedway near Denver ,
July 23-25.

      The track also will participate in special programs offered exclusively by NHRA, including the National
Dragster Challenge, the Aerospace Components King of the Track, the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League
Challenge, and NHRA Drags: Street Legal Style presented by AAA.  The National Dragster Challenge and
the King of the Track programs give local racers the opportunity to earn coveted Wally trophies at their
home track.

      “We’re real excited about being a part of NHRA,” expressed Todd Zampese, president of San Antonio
Raceway. “We have already received a lot of great feedback from our racers on the announcement and
we’re anxious to go to compete in the NHRA bracket finals this year.”

“This is exciting news for all the racers in the San Antonio area,” said NHRA South Central Division
Director Craig Hutchinson.  “We are excited to bring the NHRA and all of our programs to this area and to
have the San Antonio Team joining us this year at the Summit E.T. Finals.”

                Headquartered in Glendora , Calif. , NHRA is the primary sanctioning body for the sport of drag
racing in the United States . It presents 24 national events through its NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing
Series. NHRA has 80,000 members and 140 member tracks. The NHRA-sanctioned sportsman and
